Entry Level Landscape Estimator

We are looking to bring on a full-time estimator who is motivated to be part of our growing landscape construction team.

Responsibilities

- Review Construction Documents/Plans and prepare proposal for landscape construction projects.

- Analyze drawings, perform take offs and read specifications.

- Input/calculate take off data into bid proposals.

- Meet proposal deadlines.

- Operate estimating software Planswift.

- Attend job walks and prebid meetings.

- Work closely with senior estimator and project managers.

- Use experience and knowledge to predict risk, opportunities and challenges on individual projects.

- Coordinate quotes/pricing with material suppliers.

- Assist project managers with submittals, close out documents, etc.

Qualifications

- Degree in Landscape, Engineering, Construction, Business or equivalent is preferred, but not required

- 1-2 Years estimating experience is preferred, but not required

- Strong Computer Skills.

- Experience in computer take off software preferred.

- Strong Mathematical skills.

- Experience with landscape or construction industry.

- Experience reading construction documents/blue prints.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

- Organization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
